So what is the Discworld.

The Discworld is a magical place that drifts through space. It is carried on the backs of four huge elephants which in turn stand on the back a giant interstellar turtle called Great A'Tuin. The disc has many varied Characters none of whom are normal in any sense of the word. The disc is huge and is covered by four main continental masses. There are several large kingdoms and cities on the disc. The largest city on the disk is called Ankh Morpork. Ankh-Morpork is the scene of many of the 23 Discworld novels up to now. The stories do however span the whole disc with one of the more recent book taking place in XXXX which is up until now was the "undiscovered continent." The disc is a place of magic, wizards, witches, trolls, dwarfs etc. There are too many characters and places to mention or even attempt to mention. I think it is sufficient to say that anyone who has read the series will agree that it is a fantastic place. If you have not read any of Terry Pratchett's novels may I personally recommend you do so as they are well worth trying out.
