Blackburn Rovers Football Club.

I have supported the Rovers since I was very young. I still remember that day when my dad first took me to a match. We were sat in the old Riverside stand and the whole thing was amazing. I couldn't believe I was so close to the players and how many people were there (the attendances at the time were around 10000 on a good day). The club means a lot to me. I have often been asked if I would change affiliation to Newcastle now that I live here and the answer is NO.

I did start to come round to the idea of giving Newcastle some of my support but then they went and took too many players, backroom staff and even managers from us so I am a bit bitter as are many Blackburn fans.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The unthinkable happened didn't it. After a gallant struggle for survival the ex-champions have been relegated to the first division. I was gutted. Just sat after the match that sent us down for what seemed like eternity and was gobsmacked. We will return as champions this year (always the optimist) and reek our revenge on the bastards that sent us down in the first place, you know those that beat us (everyone that is) I hope to add to this page next during happier times. Instead I will console myself by looking at the picture at the link below and cry pathetically into a pillow.

That wasn't a very good prediction. I think we may be in the nationwide for a while. having said that we are do great at the moment so fingers crossed. (as long as we end up above Burnley)

Here is a link to one of my favourite pictures of all time.
