The Great A'Tuin.

The great star turtle who carries the Discworld on its back. Ten thousand mile long (sex unknown). It is as large as worlds. As patient as a brick. Great A'Tuin is the only creature in the entire universe that knows exactly where it is going.

Great A'Tuin swims through the universe and carries four elephants (Just for anyone who may be remotely interested the elephants names are: Berilia, Jerakeen, Tubul and Great T'phon) which in turn carry the Disc itself. Many a wizard has wondered where it is wanting to go but all they have managed to sense from its huge, slow brain is that it is looking forward to something. After the events in the light fantastic eight baby giant turtles which have since gone there separate ways.
